Costa Del Sol: Day three
Walking tour of Mijas

Located about 35 minutes from Marbella, Mijas is a typical Andalusian village, perched high above Fuengirola and Mijas Costa with spectacular views of the coast and surrounding mountain forests. There are no main thoroughfares here, instead a web of narrow cobbled streets complete with terraces overflowing with geraniums, red tile roofs, archways and, of course, the bullring (the only square one in Spain!). It contains a small bullfight museum that can be visited. Mijas is well known for its wide variety of handicrafts, especially leather goods, woven fabrics and tapestries and articles of stained and carved wood… a shoppers paradise!!! |
Traditional Gala Dinner at Cortijo de Cortes
This enchanting Andalusian hacienda is divided into four courtyards, decorated with mosaics, fountains and plenty of orange trees. It offers a beautiful patio for a cocktail reception and several private rooms for dinner. There is a bullring behind the patio for horseshows or maybe a mock bullfight. This evening is sure to offer the perfect taste of Spain!
