Afternoon Vatican Museum – Private Visit

This is an opportunity for an unforgettable experience.

By special arrangements with the Vatican Authorities, the doors of the Vatican Museum will open exclusively for your guests. You will visit the world renowned Sistine Chapel, where Michelangelo spent 4 years painting the ceiling with frescoes depicting scenes from the Old Testament, including the remarkable scene of the Creation.

On the wall behind the altar you will see the maturity of Michelangelo, in his fresco of the Last Judgment, started 22 years after he completed the ceiling. Our guide will also point out the self-portrait Michelangelo included.

Welcome to Rome Theme dinner with an interactive cooking lesson and wine stomping competition at a countryside restaurant

Comfortable motor-coaches will take you to a rustic, countryside restaurant with fabulous food and a great informal and friendly atmosphere located in the northern outskirts of the city and very much frequented by locals. Originally a farm, the restaurant has an atmosphere characteristic of the Roman countryside. Strolling musicians wearing colorful costumes will welcome the participants before they reach the cooking stations where a local chef will show the traditional way to prepare a “Soffritto” or a delicious dish of “Lasagna” .

Pasta ladies will show the traditional way to prepare home made fresh pasta, there are also some Pizza Stations by a huge fireplace where you can try your skills as a pizzaiolo. Two farmers will fill wooden barrels with grapes and demonstrate the “old way” of wine making... by foot! A Wine Stomping Competition will follow! A typical Italian dinner will be served in the restaurant. The rooms will be setup to give the idea of a country feast with red and white checkered linen, sun umbrellas by the tables with garlic and salami hung about the room and table service by waiters wearing traditional costumes.
